Carcass, Bruno Mars, Tyla & Propagandhi Announce New Zealand Tour Dates
This week brings massive tour news for Aotearoa, with death metal legends Carcass set for Galatos, while Bruno Mars and Tyla headline Eden Park. Punk icons Propagandhi are heading to Wellington, and a host of other acts have confirmed dates across the country. The live music scene in Aotearoa is shaping up nicely with a string of big announcements coming through over the last week. Death metal stalwarts Carcass have locked in a show at Auckland's Galatos for October 2026. If you are after something on a larger scale, Bruno Mars is set to take over Eden Park for two nights in March 2027, joined by the fast-rising Tyla.
Wellington is getting a solid dose of punk with Propagandhi hitting Meow Nui in February 2027. They join an eclectic mix of international and local talent hitting our shores. Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap have also added dates in Auckland and Wellington, while folk duo Gillian Welch & David Rawlings have mapped out a comprehensive four-centre tour for early 2027.
The local scene remains as busy as ever. Goodnight Nurse have confirmed a run of intimate shows at The Loons in Lyttelton and San Fran in Wellington. For those looking for something a bit different, Christoph El Truento is playing Whammy Bar, and Lady Shaka will be hitting the stage at Spark Arena.
