Tyla is a South African singer and songwriter from Johannesburg, East Rand. Born Tyla Laura Seethal on 30 January 2002, she gained international recognition with her 2023 single "Water". Her music style combines pop and amapiano elements, earning her the nickname "Queen of Popiano".
