KATSEYE, Bryan Adams, Weezer, Disturbed & more announced for NZ tours
A massive week of tour announcements sees global pop sensation KATSEYE, rock icons Bryan Adams and Weezer, and metal heavyweights Disturbed all locking in New Zealand dates for early 2027. Local talent and boutique shows are also filling the calendar, with Nadia Reid, Die! Die! Die!, and Office Dog leading a busy summer schedule of live performances across the motu.
The upcoming touring season is shaping up to be one of our busiest yet, with a raft of international heavy hitters confirming their return to Aotearoa. KATSEYE will bring their Y2K-inspired pop to Spark Arena on 5 March, followed closely by alternative rock favourites Weezer at the same venue on 7 March. Further south, Bryan Adams is set to play the newly restored Wellington Town Hall on 16 March, while Disturbed fans have a double dose of metal to look forward to with shows in Auckland and Christchurch this coming April.
Beyond the major arena tours, our local stages are packed with a diverse mix of talent. We’re seeing a strong run of shows from New Zealand acts, including Nadia Reid performing at the Pitt Street Methodist Church on 12 December, and a double-header from Die! Die! Die! and Office Dog at Auckland's Double Whammy on 4 December. For those looking for something a bit different, Purple Pilgrims are playing Kahui St. David's on 5 December, and the legendary Handel's Messiah will grace the Douglas Lilburn Auditorium stage earlier that month.
The club and boutique circuit is also firing up. Roger Sanchez hits Meow Nui in Wellington on 10 December, while Amy Shark plays an intimate set at the Tuning Fork in November. We’ve also noted a few tribute and covers acts hitting the smaller venues, such as Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon at the Stardome Observatory and The Psychedelic Mixtape at the same venue, though these naturally hold a different space on the gig guide compared to the primary tour acts.
