A$AP Rocky, Kraus, Trisha Paytas & KORA announce major New Zealand tour dates
This week’s tour announcements bring a diverse mix to our stages, led by international heavyweights A$AP Rocky at Spark Arena and Kraus at Audio Foundation. Fans can also look forward to shows from Trisha Paytas, KORA, and Ladi6, alongside a range of local and experimental acts touring throughout late 2026 and early 2027.
The past week has seen a flurry of new tour announcements, covering everything from global hip-hop icons to our own homegrown talent. A$AP Rocky leads the list of upcoming arena shows, scheduled to perform at Spark Arena on 12 December 2026. For those looking for a different pace, the Audio Foundation will host the intense and cathartic sounds of Kraus on 27 November 2026, alongside an appearance from the experimental post-punk group Ludus.
Also hitting the major stages, Trisha Paytas has confirmed a date at Spark Arena for February 2027. Meanwhile, summer festivals and regional tours are starting to take shape. Christchurch fans have a significant night ahead on 5 December 2026, with a stacked lineup at the Hagley Park Entertainment Triangle featuring KORA, Ladi6, and the electronic sounds of Flamingo Pier.
The regional circuit remains busy as well. Chaii is set to perform in Raglan this November, while Wellington’s Valhalla will host both the Pakistani soft-rock group Strings and the hardcore punk outfit Needles on 5 November.
For those interested in local indie and experimental scenes, Park Rd will bring their alternative sound to the Wunderbar in Lyttelton on 26 November. If you are after something more low-key, Gareth Thomas is playing Big Fan on 20 November, the same night Pumice brings his experimental noise project to the Audio Foundation.
While tribute and cover acts often populate the gig circuit, there are some notable upcoming events for fans of classic rock. The Stardome Observatory & Planetarium will host a 'The Dark Side of the Moon' tribute to Pink Floyd on 21 October, offering a unique experience for prog-rock enthusiasts. Additionally, The Ten Tenors will be performing their opera-fused set across multiple dates in early 2027, including shows in Auckland, Hamilton, Christchurch, and Rotorua.
Other acts confirmed for the coming months include:
- HALLOW'S EVE at Big Fan (30 October)
- Afro Jazz at Caretaker (19 October)
- Shot at Paisley Stage (7 November)
- Horn at darkroom (21 November)
- Christoph El Truento at Double Whammy! (20 January)
