Northlane, Jesus Christ Superstar, Tash Sultana & Ivy Announce NZ Shows
A massive week of tour announcements sees **Northlane** heading to Auckland's Powerstation and **Jesus Christ Superstar** arriving in Palmerston North. **Tash Sultana** also returns to the Powerstation, while **Ivy** plays Dunedin. From international metal to iconic theatre, these shows cover significant ground across the motu.
It has been a busy week for gig announcements, with a diverse spread of international and local acts confirmed for the coming year. Metalcore heavyweights Northlane lead the pack, bringing their high-energy sound to The Powerstation in Auckland on 22 November 2026. If you prefer your live music with a theatrical edge, Jesus Christ Superstar will be performing a unique show at the Palmerston North Railway Station on 28 November 2026.
Tash Sultana is also set to make a welcome return to Auckland’s Powerstation on 23 April 2027, promising a signature multi-instrumental set. For those based in the south, Ivy is playing at Pearl Diver in Dunedin on 8 October 2026, offering an intimate indie-pop performance.
The Wellington scene is also set to be active, with Inspiral Carpets scheduled for San Fran on 12 May 2027, and DARTZ playing a string of dates across the city, including shows at Newtown Community Centre and the Newtown Bowling Club in October 2026.

Fans of electronic and atmospheric sounds can look forward to Paige Julia in Christchurch on 31 October, and the trip-hop duo After at The Tuning Fork in Auckland on 8 January 2027. We also see tribute and recording-focused shows entering the mix, including a presentation of Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon at the Stardome Observatory & Planetarium on 3 October, and The Psychedelic Mixtape at the same venue on 30 September. Rounding out the announcements are Peter Jefferies, Gareth Thomas, Afro Jazz, The Bright Ideas, Hominid, Monster Mash, Riverwood, Beats, Soft Rock, Freak Out, Charlie B, Li'l Chuck The One Man Skiffle Machine, Otium, CHAII, and Tom Curtain.
