Clara La San, Descendents, Simple Minds & Gary Numan announce new NZ shows
A massive week for local gig announcements sees R&B artist Clara La San heading to Auckland, while punk legends Descendents are set for Wellington. The touring circuit is heating up with major dates confirmed for Simple Minds and Gary Numan, alongside a solid mix of local talent and international acts like Kara, Macy Gray, and Balu Brigada. It has been a busy week for tour announcements across Aotearoa, with a diverse range of international and local acts locking in dates. Auckland fans have plenty to look forward to, headlined by the news that bedroom R&B producer Clara La San will play The Tuning Fork this June. Joining her in the city of sails, local alt-pop favourites Balu Brigada are set to take the stage at the Powerstation.
For those after something with a bit more grit, the legendary Descendents have confirmed a Wellington show at Meow Nui, promising a high-energy set of classic punk rock. The capital is also hosting a variety of other performances, including sets from Saint Levant, Chanel Beads, Atomic, and Food.
The touring calendar is also filling up well into next year. Synth-pop pioneer Gary Numan and Scottish rock icons Simple Minds have both scheduled major arena dates in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch for early 2027. Elsewhere, fans can catch the soulful sounds of Macy Gray in Hamilton, while Kara and Tiny Tunes are heading to Whangārei for a special event at ONEONESIX.
