We Call It Techno

About this show

Techno can be many things, but at its core it stands for experimentation, crossing borders, and DIY spirit. An independent microcosm is created. Networks form away from established structures. For a moment, anything feels possible…For one night only, we invite you into a dark, intimate, hypnotic night of dance, a celebration of techno stripped back to its essence. We're bringing together three of Tāmaki's most passionate techno selectors - artists whose paths don't often cross on a lineup, each with a distinct sound built from years of devotion to the craft and the culture. What unites them is a shared belief that the dancefloor is a place for immersion, tension and release, and the kind of collective energy that only happens when a crowd is the perfect size to actually connect. This is a night built for listening as much as dancing, where the music leads the way.GREG CHURCHILLLITTLEWILDMANISAH
