Welcome to the October Songwriters' Saturday at https://therealm.co.nz/We have another exciting evening of homegrown music planned for your enjoyment. Things kick off at 6.30 p.m. with the first of three acts. Your host venue, The Realm, is fully seated, with Bar and Restaurant facilities available and is close to bus services. Reservations can be made online or by phone. Parking is free and, on the street, with easy access from the front of the building. The music ends around 9 o'clock.About the Artists:Goldenchild: Our unlikely crew is as follows; - Matt on Bass, Chuck - Drums and Mo on Vocals and guitar. We are proud to share our music with you. Goldenchild is surprising and unexpected. Rich songwriting to make you feel intensely, and to dance, and sing. Lush acoustic rhythms, dense funk grooves, and the catchiest melodies.Glenn Barclay: Glenn has been writing (and playing) the occasional song for many years and now it appears that they all add up to something that he would like to share with everyone. Glenn, and his guitar, will be joined by Eric Daubé on backing vocals.Jane Shearer: Jane loves telling stories through music, with humour. Her performances use guitar or cello, whichever tells the story best. Jane's recent album Menagerie exemplifies her indie-quirk approach to songwriting.Rachel Hird: Rachel is a Wellington based singer-songwriter. She grew up playing the piano and studying classical music.…
