About this show
There's a particular kind of Saturday night that Nice 'n' Urlich do well. Bevan Keys builds sets that move without pushing. Peter Urlich works a room the way he always has. Between them, thirty years of knowing exactly what a dance floor wants.Soulful house with a funk backbone. Deep grooves, melody you can feel. The two of them have been at this since the mid-90s. What started as a Saturday morning show on 95bFM became four albums on Simon Grigg's Huh! Records and over 60,000 copies sold in New Zealand. First club night at Herzog on K Road. The rooms got bigger from there. Peter came to all of this after Th' Dudes, inducted into the NZ Music Hall of Fame in 2019. Bevan built his name as one of the sharpest selectors in Auckland. Together they found a sound and an audience that never really let go.This is Nice 'n' Urlich. They don't play often. And when they come to Matakana, you want to be there. This is your post-election party. Waiting to unleash and unwind.Doors 8PMSupport by DJ FlynnyLimited early bird $49+BF
