The Acacia Strain is an American metal band formed in 2001. Originally from Chicopee, Massachusetts, the band is now based in Albany, New York. They are currently signed to Rise Records. The initial lineup included high school friends Vincent Bennett, Christopher Daniele, Ben Abert, and Karrie Whitfield.
