Squeeze are an English pop rock band formed in London, England in 1974 by songwriters Glenn Tilbrook (vocals, guitar) and Chris Difford (guitar, vocals). The band consists of Tilbrook and Difford, with the exception of Difford's 1999 hiatus. The group's current lineup includes Stephen Large (keyboards), Lucy Shaw (bass), and Simon Hanson (drums). Squeeze initially split in 1982, but reunited in 1985. The band split again in 1999.
