Riverwood

Riverwood is a New Zealand-based progressive metal band that emerged in late 2016 as a full-band evolution of Jordan Slattery's solo efforts. Their music combines soft progressive metal with Middle-Eastern folk elements, creating a warm, melodic, and beautiful sound. Their debut album, "Soaked to the Bone", was released in March 2017. Riverwood's second album, "Fairytail", was released in December 2018. The band's sound is reminiscent of Dan Swanö's Nightingale project.
