John Morton

John Morton is a composer known for his use of music boxes and their sounds, drawing comparisons to Conlon Nancarrow's player piano work and John Cage's prepared piano techniques. Born in Los Angeles, he studied privately with David Sheinfeld in San Francisco and attended the California Institute of the Arts. In 2009, he created the Sound Tunnel in New York City's Central Park.
