FKJ, the stage name of French-born Vincent Fenton, is a soul singer-songwriter from New Zealand. Born to a French mother and a New Zealander father, Fenton was raised in a small French village. He grew up listening to his parents' diverse music collection, including Pink Floyd, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, and Queen. Fenton began playing the guitar and saxophone at a young age, and turned to music for companionship due to his isolated upbringing.
