Brass Band

The 5th Regt Brass Band is a New Zealand brass band that recorded the oldest known band recording in March 1889. This recording was made off an Edison Cylinder. The band was part of the British Army, stationed in New Zealand. The recording is now held in the collection of the Alexander Turnbull Library in Wellington.
